By divine design

In her email last week, Hermana Henke told us of a sweet experience they had while out with two Elders. She shared:
“We were visiting with Elder Valladares and Elder Rivas. They had taken us to visit a couple very sweet families. The YW aged daughter at one home was having her friends over later in the evening and asked if the Elders could come back by and meet them. We returned to the home where this ‘on fire’ young lady, just recently baptized, and her friends were mingling in the front yard. The Elders hopped out of the car to visit with them. Bob thought we shouldn’t overwhelm the youth with too many adults so we stayed in the car. We were sitting there when Bob noticed a young man walking by on the other side of the street wearing a TOP OF UTAH half marathon shirt! (For those that don’t know, Bob was Race Director for the TOP OF UTAH Marathon for 14 years and an assistant for the half for the same time.) Bob jumped out of the car, leaving it with KEYS IN THE IGNITION AND IT RUNNING - he would never do that at home - and chased after the young man, catching him right before his home. I turned off the car and took the keys, locking the car (This girl from Hyrum has been well trained) and went after him.  Bob was asking about the young man’s shirt, explaining he had been the director of that race. Then Bob explained that we were missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we were in Mexico sharing the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Would he be interested? The young man,...who is 18, said “yes.” We walked back down the street, got our Elders and were invited into his home, where [his] Mother also joined us. The Elders taught about the restoration with Bob sharing his testimony as well. It was quite a spiritual experience.”
