Mission Life is fun!

We said a second final goodbye to these elders. Élder Turcios y Élder Calderon de El Salvador. They served for 27+ months before we were FINALLY able to get them home!

During interviews, Hermana Henke discovered Élder Arroyo is a very talented pianist.

Élder Barrera shares his skill with the guitar and singing:

Apparently desperate times call for desperate measures! 😂 Presidente Henke has become a barber for some of the missionaries, when needed, these last few months! If it makes their mothers feel better, Presidente has been cutting his own hair for years, so he’s really quite experienced!
Elder Loeza takes a turn:

And Elder Jimenez. What brave Elders!

Mission Tour with The Pingrees

At the end of August the Ciudad Juarez Mission had the opportunity to  welcome Elder Pingree and his wife, Sister Pingree, for  a mission tour! It was a little different than last year’s mission tour, due to the Covid Pandemic, and most of the missionaries met the Pingree’s only virtually. Maybe next Mission Tour we can all gather together!
The Pingree’s with our Elders in the Office. Élder Mateo, Élder Orantes, Élder Sanchez, Élder Munive (AP), Élder Aguirre (AP). Hermana Garcia y Hermana Salazar just happened to be leaving from the church next to the office with perfect timing to meet the Pingree’s and join us for the picture.
